Overview

This program offers a unique immersion into Vietnam's rich cultural landscape and dynamic business environment. You will develop global business capacity through Vietnamese culture and business practices, including language lessons, cultural activities, sightseeing, business visits, briefings, and a practical consulting project. This diversifies your academic experience, boosting your global job competitiveness and equipping you with management consulting, problem-solving, critical thinking, leadership, teamwork, intercultural communication, and networking skills for international careers.

This study tour consists of the following 2 units for 25 credit points:

·  BUS30028: Business Innovation in Asia Study Tour offers 12.5 credit points. As a Business Practice core unit, it helps you understand business innovations and the Australia-Vietnam trade linkages. It includes language, cultural, and business activities.

·  BUS30032: Business Consulting Project provides another 12.5 credit points for the business consulting project component. Student teams, guided by experienced academic coaches, apply academic knowledge to industry problems and present recommendations to senior executives.

Eligibility

To qualify for this program, you must be an undergraduate Business or Business double degree student who will have completed 200 credit points in the Bachelor of Business & Bachelor of Business Professional degrees by the end of Semester 1, 2026.

Funding your overseas journey may be easier than you think

New Colombo Plan Mobility Grants

This program has a number of A$5,500 Australian Government New Colombo Plan Mobility grants. These grants are available to Australian undergraduate students (with no citizenship or residency rights to Vietnam), who have not previously received an NCP short-term grant.

Grants are allocated on a rolling basis and students are automatically considered for a grant as part of the application process.

OS-HELP Loan

Eligible Australian students can also apply for an Australian Government OS-HELP Loan of A$5,065 or A$10,130 to help cover costs associated with your overseas program.
